The Boxing Clubs purpose is give the boxers a place to come together and work hard on their boxing skills while allowing and training new members who are interested in boxing in a safe , positive and educational environment that will be carefully supervised. Boxers will have the opportunities to compete with other schools and clubs at amateur boxing level in order to meet other clubs. They will even be allowed to have a chance at winning a championship belt.

Participation in the Boxing Club is only allowed to Georgia State University students who are.
full-time students and should have a mandatory 12 hours of credit, during competition unless he/she is in their final semester or quarter semester of the Baccalaureate program and the institution certifies that the student is carrying for credit the courses necessary to complete their degree requirements and will graduate.
First year graduate Students who have not completed four year of NCBA competition are allowed to compete.
Boxer who have previously competed prior to or after their 16Th birthday must apply for a NCBA waiver.
All club members MUST register with the NCBA/USA boxing in order participate with club practices, and events.
All club members must wear a mouth piece, headgear, and male boxers must wear groin protectors during contact drills/spar. If the member does not have this equipment, they cannot practice.
Two-year college students are permitted to participate, as long as they meet the above mentioned criteria, in all NCBA sanctioned competition except for the NCBA National Championship and their Regional Qualifier(s).
All students who wish to join must have a 2.2 GPA minimum.
Dues and Fees
Athletic Membership with U.S Boxing- $50 (required to join)
o Renewed every year on Jan. 1
Club membership fee- $40 per semester
