SPS @ GSU
Location: Natural Science Center Room #220
50 Decatur Street, Atlanta, Georgia 30303

The Society of Physics Students is an international organization designed for students interested in physics. At Georgia State University, we’re located in room #220 of the Natural Science Center. Tutoring for introductory physics courses (PHYS 1111, 1112, 2211, 2212) is open to all, membership is not required.

Membership is open to all majors, though an interest in physics and science is recommended. The cost of membership is $10/semester or $20/year. Members get access to the study room with a fridge, microwave, free coffee, printer, computers, study guides and other students to study with. This year we plan to have science movies nights, talks by grad students, advisement sessions, and coffee hours with professors. We are continuing to plan our trip somewhere exciting in the spring. It's going to be an exciting year with lots of interesting events to attend.
